Edison is off to his first day of Joy School!
Tyler started half-day Kindergarten at Northridge Elementary this Fall. Jennifer was the only one without a video camera when she dropped off Tyler. Jennifer walked him in to his classroom even though Tyler said he could do it himself. He’s been doing well and enjoyed his day as “King”. He’s made lots of new friends, including Katherine his car pool buddy.
Alex started pre-school at Funshine Learning Center. He goes twice a week. He loves coming home and showing off what he made that day. His teacher said that he’s a very intense colorer.
While the boys are enjoying school, Jennifer now gets two days a week with just Edison around. While Edison is more than enough to keep anyone busy, she’s enjoyed having some quieter-ish time.
So here are albums for the past five months… yes five months. My mom gently reminded me a few days ago that she didn’t have any recent photos of her grandsons. When I sat down to do this I didn’t realize that it had been quite that long. Anyway, here are the albums:

Normally I’d do some highlights… but there would be too many for one post. Jennifer and I will post some stories go to along with some of the photos of the coming weeks (months? years?). Hope you enjoy these!
For those that filled out the quiz, thanks for playing!
Here’s what you thought…
Baby A is
Tyler 45%
Alex 18%
Edison 36%
Baby B is
Tyler 27%
Alex 18%
Edison 55%
Baby C is
Tyler 18%
Alex 55%
Edison 27%
Only a few people got all of them right, most got one and a few got all of them wrong :) Looking back they all look very similar at one month and I don’t know how well we would have done so kudos to those that got all three! Alex started to look different from Tyler around 6 months so it’ll be interesting to see what Edison looks like then. Maybe we’ll keep doing this every month until it’s obvious who is who…

So, I’m finally getting around to posting photos here. Most of you already know, but Edison Toshio Clement was born Thursday, February 19th. He was 7 lbs 6 oz and 21 inches long. Both mom and baby are doing great.
What you’re really wanting are photos, so here are some…
Edison!
First attempt at a family photo…
Edison in the car waiting to go home.
Edison with his eyes wide open with Grandma Conder.
Sleeping in his swing.
Being held by his big brother Tyler.
And instead of the regular album link, I’ve embedded a slideshow. This actually includes all of February so there are a few before Edison was born.
Click on any slide to go to the full size photo and album. Let me know if you like this better or not in the comments…

Yes, I'm a slacker... but oh well. I'd promise that I'll do better that probably isn't going to happen. Here are some recent (and not so recent) photos that I've finally uploaded. I apologize for the quality of the photos. Our camera's auto focus is acting up and it's actually getting sent in tomorrow to see if they can fix it... so we'll be camera-less for a little bit, not that we've been especially good about taking photos recently. But the baby's coming soon so hopefully we'll have the camera back for that... if not we'll be running to the store to get a new one!
As always, some highlights..
Alex asleep at dinner... he was SO exhausted.
Tyler as the innkeeper in his Joy School nativity skit. "No Room!"
Feeding Snoopy...
We don't have any photos of Christmas morning because we only took video because of the camera weirdness situation. It might take a while to get to that...
Tyler in a Mustang. Tyler and I went to the Utah Auto Expo together this year. We had a lot of fun and sat in a lot of cars. Tyler really enjoyed getting in the driver seat, buckling himself in and driving away!
Alex ready for Church... handsome boy!

We also recently took family photos and got Tyler's 4 years old photos taken (at the same time). These are REALLY small/low quality photos, but here's some of the photos we had taken.

Last Friday we went to the Strawberry Days carnival. Last year we went and Tyler would only ride the carousel over and over again. We were hoping that this year he would be more willing to go on more rides. Which he did... to a point. We tried to get him on the little rides that basically just go around in a circle (like a carousel but with little cars). He wouldn't go and I was afraid that we were going to have a repeat of last year. But it turned out that he was pretty much willing to go on anything that I could go on with him. So...
... he went on the ferris wheel with me which he actually enjoyed. I was a little worried that once we got up there that he would start to freak out, but he thought it was a blast.
Tyler and Alex went on a carousel ride and then Alex went on the carousel again while Tyler went on the little roller coaster with me.
And then, of course, we got strawberries :)
I also posted some other photos. Here's the album!
